Description of project

The project aimed to support economic reforms and modernize infrastructure in the health sector in Tunisia. The diagnosis of the then-current supply of export health services in Tunisia, as presented in a previous study, revealed significant weaknesses in the sector, including a lack of professionalism in managing information circulated on the Internet and the absence of a coordinating structure in the sector. The Agency for the Promotion of Investments and Exports of Health Services was tasked with organizing, monitoring, and promoting health tourism to the main issuing markets.

Services provided
  • A diagnosis of the existing and a benchmark study on the structures for promoting investment and the export of health services in competing countries in this area;
  • A feasibility study for the creation of the agency;
  • A report on the constraints and recommendations.
