Job description
Aninver is looking for a short-term consultant in West Africa (including Benin, Burkina Faso, Cabo Verde, Cote d'Ivoire, The Gambia, Ghana, Guinea, Guinea Bissau, Liberia, Mali, Mauritania, Niger, Nigeria, Senegal, Sierra Leone and Togo) to join our team for a ECOWAS consultancy project. The assignment consists in collaborating with us on the preparation of ECOWAS Human Capital Strategy. We are looking to hire:
- A Labor market specialist
The duties may include, among others:
- Supporting the team in:
- Undertaking a Literature-review to gather information on Human Capital in the región
- Designing data collection tools and preparing sampling
- Defining the Human Capital conceptual framework
- Proposing actions
- Preparing a physical and financial programming, financial estimates, etc.
- Proposing a coordination, monitoring and evaluation system
- Facilitating workshops and meetings
- The consultant may need to carry out field visits and interviews with institutions and individuals
Qualifications
The requirements are the following:
- Master degree in social sciences, economics or statistics
- At least 10 years of experience in the analysis of labor markets
- Good experience in the preparation and monitoring and evaluation of human capital development policies
- Knowledge of ECOWAS member countries
