Urban Planner

Aninver is looking for a short-term consultant in Rwanda to join our team for a World Bank consultancy project. The assignment consists in collaborating with us in the assessment of the potential for development of affordable housing under a PPP model. We are looking to hire:

An expert in Urban Planning

The duties may include, among others:

Supporting the team in

• Developing parameters to assess the suitability of the site for housing in order to review the sites and prioritize them
• Advising on required infrastructure on and off site, on optimal land utilization and cost estimates
• Providing high level plans for houses
• Analyzing local capacity to supply affordable housing in a PPP model
• The assessment of annual incomes of the beneficiaries
• Reviewing the housing finance market
• A commercial and financial analysis of the sites
• Reviewing the demand for houses facilities

The requirements are the following:

• At least 10 years of work experience in urban housing planning
• A good understanding of the country’s housing industry in Rwanda
