Aninver has signed a new contract in Kenya
Aninver, a Spanish market intelligence and management consulting firm, has signed a new advisory contract to support the Kenya National Highways Authority for the Assessment and Strategy of the Domestic Construction Industry
Under this contract, the third for the firm in Kenya, Aninver will perform a complete assessment of the construction industry in Kenya and elaborate a strategy to improve and foster the capacity of the domestic industry players. The construction sector continues to be one of the key drivers of economic growth in Kenya. The industry performance is an indicator of the economic health of the country and is linked with other sectors which have corresponding demands for material and labor inputs.
To ensure a skilled and flexible workforce is vital for the performance and competitiveness of the industry. This is enhanced by its ability to access the right type of financing for operations and growth. Innovation is also essential for the industry´s competitiveness, survival and growth. It can drive competitive advantages and improve productivity. All these issues will be analyzed and covered during the assignment.
The Government of Kenya has received financing from the African Development Bank for this assignment, as part of the Sirare Corridor accessibility and road safety improvement project rehabilitation of Isebania- Kisii - ahero (A1) road. The value of the contract is USD 787,976.40 excluding local indirect taxes.
